Lash guide

Classic, hybrid or volume?

These aren't three levels of dramatic. They're three techniques, and which one is right depends mostly on how many natural lashes you have to build on.

A finished classic lash set

Classic

$180 · 90 min · one extension per lash

One extension on one natural lash, all the way across. It reads as length and definition rather than added density — mascara you don't have to put on.

Best if you already have a lot of your own lashes and want them defined, not multiplied.

Classic full set

A finished hybrid lash set

Hybrid

$200 · 2 hrs · classics and fans mixed

Single classics and lightweight fans across the same lid. The fans go where you're sparse; the classics keep it from tipping into fluffy.

Best if your lashes are a little gappy in places, or you want texture rather than a solid line.

Hybrid volume full set

A finished volume lash set

Volume

$200 · 2 hrs · handmade fans

Fans of several very fine extensions, made by hand and set on one natural lash. Dense and dark, and lighter than it looks — that's what the finer diameter is for.

Best if you want the illusion of far more lashes than you have, or your own are fine and sparse.

Volume full set

Three different clients, one style each — not the same set photographed three ways.

Upkeep assumes one or two fills a month, which is what most people land on. A $25 deposit holds any full set.

How each one wears over three weeks

This is the part that decides which style you'll actually be happy with, and nobody tells you it up front.

Classic thins out most visibly. Every lash that sheds takes one extension with it, so at week three you can count what's missing. It stays tidy the whole time — there's just less of it.

Hybrid hides gaps the longest, which is the practical reason it's my most-booked full set. Losing a few lashes out of a mixed texture is far less obvious than losing them out of an even line.

Volume keeps looking full right up until it doesn't — the density carries it, then it goes patchy fairly quickly if you push past three weeks. If you're the kind of person who'd rather stretch a fill to a month, book hybrid instead.

Still can't choose?

Book the half set at $120. It's fewer extensions across a lighter map, it takes an hour, and it tells you far more about what you like than any photo will.

Plenty of my clients start there and move up at their second appointment. Nobody has ever regretted starting light.
