Your retention has been getting worse and you cannot work out why. Nine times out of ten it is oil and product build-up at the base.
You wear makeup most days and have never deep-cleaned your lash line.
You want to see how it is meant to be done before doing it at home.
You are already cleansing daily with a lash-safe foam and your sets last three weeks. You are fine.
You are hoping it will make a shed set look full again. It will not — that is a fill.
Adhesive bonds to a clean lash. Sunscreen, foundation, oil-based cleanser and ordinary skin oil build up at the base of the lash where you cannot see it, and the bond gives up early.
Ten minutes with a foaming cleanser and a soft brush removes that. It is the single most useful thing you can do between appointments, and it costs $15 here or a couple of minutes a day at home.
Ask me at your appointment and I will show you exactly how much pressure to use — most people are far too gentle at the base and too rough on the tips.
Ten minutes and $15. Add it to your next fill and see whether the set lasts longer — it usually does.
