24-48 hours before making an appointment you can come in to be educated on the process and products I use. For any sensitivity or allergies I highly recommend allowing the time for your health and safety before confirming an appointment for a set of lashes.
You have ever reacted to adhesives, cosmetics or medical tape.
You have sensitive or watery eyes, or you wear contacts and are unsure how this will go.
You want to meet me and see the room before committing to a two-hour appointment. That is a completely reasonable thing to want.
You have had extensions before with no trouble and you know what you want — go straight to a set.
You are hoping for a free trial set. This is a test and a conversation, not lashes.
I apply a small amount of the adhesive I actually use, away from the lash line, and a few extensions so you can feel the weight. Then we wait — 24 to 48 hours is the honest window for a reaction to show up, which is why this is a separate appointment rather than five minutes at the start of your set.
We also talk: your eye shape, curl and length, what your natural lashes can carry, what you are hoping to look like. You leave knowing what you would be booking.
I recommend this strongly if you have any history of sensitivity. Twenty dollars and two days is a much better outcome than a reaction with a full set on.
